Perhaps not – perhaps a very the very act of telling created a natural design. Perhaps it was a knack that humans had, for cleaning up their untidy existences – a hidden survival weapon, like antibodies in the bloodstream.”

Super impressed so far. This is an emotionally loaded story with a lot of family history and societal unrest woven in. This author is excellent with imagery to where you can feel the emotional context of a scene entirely through his descriptions.
