I’m now skim reading each chapter and using a blog that someone has written many years ago that summarises each chapter so that I can know the highlights. It is such tedious reading even Charles Dickens books had pace. The enormous amount of characters is also off putting. Most of all, I just don’t care for either Strange nor Mr Norell.

Onto page 559. Into the third and final volume. To be honest, I wanted to put this book down many times. Now I don’t even read the extensive footnotes just to get through it all and get to the ending. Can’t wait to have this story wrapped up. It’s way way too long.
