I have to wonder. Is Saloninus an alternate reality's Nikola Tesla?
I mean the mans a genius but also bad luck ole chap. And selling a patent of an amazing invention for a pair of boots is all kinds of bad luck but with delayed effects well into the future .... in the form of potential earnings and legend status lost.

I find I like this jackass. That's huge deal because I hated him in Pulling The Wings of Angels. The man who built the cage to hide an angel from The Invincible Sun (aka God) and helped the main character do the big bad thing. Saloninus The MF Liar.
And yet, starting at the beginning, I really like him.
