Just like the movie this book is absolutely adorable. Kind of weird getting a book that’s kind of the reverse engineering coming from the movies. As it’s a short juvenile novel it leaves out a lot, however it is still a great story and a good family story.

I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that Tim Curry was narrating this after my daughter chose it for us to listen to next. He, of course, has an excellent sense of timing and drama and great voices.
