The introductory essay starts strong but overly states the purpose of the text in itʻs second half — an indication that the authors come from a scientific tradition. The writing is overly verbose and jargony; writing that is not apt for those uninitiated with both ecological and sociocultural analytic schema. Itʻs a shame because the research is thoroughly synthesized and the presented thesis tight and illuminating.

slogging through this for ki research, i want to say stuff that I'm not reviewing publicly// public sex in parks is a recurring thing that keeps getting discussed (like Discuss discussed. goes really deep into it. how parks encourage courtship, social impacts, also lots of details about gay sex in parks) which I didn't think I would read about at all, now i'm just like . okay! noted (makes sense in hindsight tbh)
