Fragmentary poets done - Sappho is indeed the best one and it's not even a competition (the tenth muse indeed). Anakreon is pretty fun too though ngl, as are quite a few of other poems here.

Read through Sappho's section and holy shit I think I genuinely did not get Sappho the first time I read her with only some context but compared to other Greek archaic poets (and maybe all ancient poetry) only Catullus gets close to being this modern and effective at expressing his emotions; fascinating glimpse, small as it is, into female socialization at the time too.
