very interesting to think that artistic flourishes on baskets and pots were a result of the fact that humans made so many of them that they added an asthetically pleasing rhythm to their process. the origins of art fascinate me and it's beautiful to think of it as coming from reiteration.
that being said i'm not gonna finish this book because it's pretty dry.

have had this on my shelf for a long while, looking forward to learn some things, we'll see if it's interesting enough to finish
