So far, this is my least favorite of Scottoline’s books. I find the premise disturbing as a defense attorney.
The premise is a murder trial has just finished; the jury is deliberating, but it’s a slam dunk for the defense. The defense attorney is speaking with her client and he confesses he murdered the guy in cold blood, so she wants to prove him guilty now by finding new evidence to give the prosecutors….
