holy wow Nick Redfern is really good at acting as a lightning rod for some of the most eccentric people in the UK *even by cryptozoologist/ghost hunter/UFO investigator* standards - of course I'm not sure how much of this book is true and how much he's embellished, kinda like Hunter Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" as one reviewer mentioned - there's a lot of bizarre UK folklore here I've never heard of

I've been waiting for a long time to read this as a regular reader of both Redfern's blog and watcher of the Centre for Fortean Zoology's web TV show "On the Track of Unknown Animals" and so far I'm enjoying this. Cryptozoological gonzo journalism isn't something you come across very often!
