Not as familiar with 1960s Egypt as with other Arab countries during that time… so I think I’m missing some of the political nuance. And some of the cultural ones!
But viewed from the angle of a cultish classic, it was a compelling short read. Ibrahim experimented with a lot (haha perhaps not all to my taste, which to be fair is not a strike against him).
