Ethan 👎🏻

This. Book. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Ugh alright Im getting pissed that even her mom is thinking about discussing abortion with Dinah. And that she didn't just tell her husband right away like why are you dragging it on and making it worse? Also getting annoyed that we're rehashing the same details from everyone's POV.

Oh wow… I was shocked that Dinah broke up with Ethan. I wasn't expecting her to take that initiative but I'm really proud of her for doing it. I also *really* appreciate how brutally honest Dinah is being w/ her doubts and questions towards God, thinking that he does things arbitrarily & doesn't trust him rn. It's comforting in a way to know that you're not the only one with those kind of thoughts.

The topic of babies conceived in rape is often used on both sides of the abortion discussion. Pro-choice people: to defend abortion. Pro-life people: with neat rebuttals. But this book so far has given me alot of insight into what it'd really look & feel like if you were a woman in this circumstance, especially a Christian. It creates empathy when you have a story behind the situation, instead of just facts or stats

So curious about how this is gonna go!
