He really ramped up the fatphobia in this one

I see we've reached the fatphobic and body shaming part of the book where Donald makes it abundantly clear that he has an undiagnosed eating disorder

Two scenes ago (narratively only a couple hours of the plot) it was explicitly stated to be summer

The radio host just said that Dan Fogelberg died on this day in the story

Which would make it December 16, 2007

Which in South Dakota CANNOT be mistaken for summer

This is the worst dialogue he's ever written and most of the book is dialogue send help

This whole scene is insane

Tex is opening up about his past and seeds are being planted for self-forgiveness.
