Plot is moving along fairly quickly, though the writing drags a bit at times. I do like this quote though: "It is not power that enables one to rule, but the wisdom to know how much to employ and when." (p. 176, spoken by Msitazi)

An interesting read so far, though it's kind of obvious who the fantasy nations are supposed to be stand-ins for (Mystria is the American Colonies, Norillia is England, and the Twilight Peoples are Indigenous Americans)
