Not so much about the quantum effects I’m interested in but rather how quantum theory affects chemistry…. Long boring chapters of interminable explanations of how different elements and molecules are made up. I’ve skipped the middle and will be done after reading the final chapters about more practical issues.

Rereading this one again just because. (I don’t think I ever fully finished it, though.) The author promised he wouldn’t use a lot of math, and yet it seems like he is using an awful lot of math. 🥴🫠 Love how he explains quantum mechanics, though.

I tried the audiobook version, but it does not make sense with so many figures and mathematical equations.
This is the last book I want to finish for January. Let's see if I can do it.
