Having a hard time not shipping the cousins. In any case Ralph seems to only genuinely good intentioned character towards Isabel. And he’s so ahead of his time to be like ‘let’s just make the girl rich and she won’t have to marry a mid man, but also I’m not doing this for any personal gain, in fact it’s actually a massive personal loss monetarily’

Also I totally relate to this turmoil that Isabel is feeling. She’s like, “what’s wrong with me that I can’t just do what society expects of me and marry one of the two great prospects I have and be happy with it? It’s not like I have plans for my life or anything” and it’s literally cuz she KNOWS these men don’t bring value to her life
