Interesting to hit a patch of stories that are humorous in nature...

Loved the Lucy Lane Clifford story, 'The Story of Willie and Fancy' - and then, because it was so short, I also read 'The Poor Lovers' by Edith Nesbit. That was a sad one, but effective. Next will be Lafcadio Hearn, followed by something by Richard Garnett. If the Garnett entry is from his collection Twilight of the Gods, I will have read it before, but it will be fresh again, after so long.

Alright! - Now I can say I have read Tennyson's The Lady of Shalott. I'm not much of a poetry reader, but that one was lovely.

Particularly enjoyed ‘The Mines of Falun’ by E. T. A. Hoffmann.
