Status Updates From Collected Poems

I’ve got the newer Collected (The Owner of the House) as an ebook, but wanted to read again in print. I’ve also owned over the years the 1965 selected and most of the individual volumes (not including The Arrivistes of course!) Once I got to hear him read and speak with him very briefly. Fine fine work—a too little noticed poet.

I’m not reading all of this in any order. Simpson is a poet I’ve followed for decades—poetry and prose both—one of the finest writers of the second half of the 20th century. I’ve owned this collection before, but picked this copy up used a couple of weeks ago so I could revisit, in print, his work.
