Status Updates From Dark and Stormy Knights: A ...

I have 2 hours of listening left. I don’t love it. But I’ll finish it. Some of the short stories are good but overall, it’s meh.

I didn’t realize (like an idiot) that it’s an anthology. I listened to the first story and it was ok. I fell asleep to the second and third so I don’t know what happened. But I do listen to it to help me fall asleep, so it’s working.

First story was really good. I’ve not read any of the Kate Daniels books but they’ve been on my TBR. Might have to bump them up. Next was the Harry Dresden story which was the reason I picked up this book in the first place. Turns out I had already read it. Super bummed about that. Hopefully the rest of the stories are good.

I like the urban fantasy vibes but so far disagree with some of the writing. Good thing about short stories is you can easily take a break. Hoping for something that scratches that Shadowrun itch after I come back.
