Status Updates From Seventeenth Summer

Page 217, a little more than halfway through- I am enjoying this book as much as I did in sixth grade, over fifty years ago! I love the way she describes the sensations of her surroundings, her first love, and the freedom of her last carefree summer before she goes off to college.

I read this book thousands of years ago when I was in 6th grade and loved it. I found it recently at a used bookstore and picked it up for only 10 cents! - so I’m reading it again just for fun- I’ll probably give it to my granddaughter when I’m done with it.
