Another annoying FMC loudly asserting her independence and intelligence while simultaneously making the stupidest decisions possible and needing to be saved. I "get" the tropes—and I'm mostly okay with them because that's the genre—but why can't she need "saving" through no fault of her own? Why make her helpless or incompetent? Ugh!

I think i am ready to be done with Darius. He is so overbearing. It is just ugh.

This is so much easier to read than the last one.
