Status Updates From Mother

Absolutely lovely and so encouraging to me as a mother choosing to be in the home full time.

Soooo, I thought this was by Kathleen Norris (one of my favorite authors) which was why I picked it up and why I kept reading past the first chapter. The moralism is a bit heavy handed, the characters are a bit flat. It's actually by Kathleen *Thompson* Norris, whose goal in this book is to show us that self-sacrificing motherhood is so much better than being an independent woman. We'll see how long I last.
