I recently went to the Crazy Horse Monument in South Dakota, and found the museum very inspiring. There was a display of Edward Curtis photographs, and I wanted to learn more about his experiences, so I picked up the book "Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher" by Timothy Egan. After just one chapter I realized there weren't enough of Curtis's photos, so I picked this book up as a companion. It works for me!
