Very good. I plan on reading more African literature this summer because I have Disgrace up next and I thought I should just embrace it.

I need to find the audio version of this book. I really want to just stop reading it but I cant cuz its my summer reading. the book is low-key boring though...

Nice book, so far I’ve went over life for the dad and the life of the sont through abuse and toxic masculinity due his obsession with not becoming his dad. This leads him to being less favored by the community due to him beating his wife after her not taking care of the kids. The issue was not that he beat his wife but when, the “peace week” curious to see where this book goes
