Content of the book aside, I absolutely recommend this edition for the reading, as it provides the original introduction to the first printing, a note to the text, a second introduction by the editor and two sets of footnotes (one on geopolitical context and another on footnotes per se, which are linked to the first set with abbreviations). An extensive labor of love on a literary text.

i enjoyed this as an undergrad, but as a reader i think certain things this novel does and accomplishes were lost on me.

i'm enjoying my re-read immensely and this will probably be a new favorite (fingers crossed)!
