Is this a alternate universe (ours) Gundam Wing fanfic?? Between the secret mission angle, the one character having long brown hair (Tanner/Duo) and the other black hair that is almost purple (Niall/Heero), and then Niall accusing Tanner of "running and hiding" (Duo "runs and hides but never lies"), I'm totally reading this as the M/M romance answer to books like 50 Shades - carefully rewritten/"original" fanfic.

Oh maaaaan, too much flashbackery. Boring and frustrating method of story telling.

New author for me. Enjoyed this tale set in and around a trailer in a trailer park and told partly in flash backs. Tense although I did guess who done it!

I'm not sure what to think, yet. It's going backwards: starting at the end and then flashed back to events and slowly filling us in. It's not bad but not gripping.

First person POV and flashbacks. One I like, and one I don't. Not all that enthused about this one so far.

"He wouldn't want to know the gory details about the pair of us, I was sure. His family was wild & uninhibited in many ways, but it followed a traditional boy-girl-baby pattern."

He palmed the "swollen excitement" in his jeans. Seriously?? Swollen excitement?? This book is full of stupid stuff like this. Grrrrr......

"She's got the balls without needin' to carry the bat between her legs!" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

3/4 through, and the first mention of love. I wonder if that is the crux of their communication problem?

"His murmur licked around me like spilled, sticky honey. Messy, sweet, and too tasty for words." GREAT line.
