It’s really interesting and I like getting to learn and hear the cultural differences that do exist.

I need Richard to read pedagogy of the oppressed so I can pick his brain on all of this thoughts and opinions on the banking model of education. Chapter two was still frustrating but not too bad, he needs a hug and for someone to read and explain to him Freire's Pedagogy of Love ASAP

So far I'm not too pissed off. My prof kind of made it sound worse than what I've read so far. Based off the first chapter, Richard just seems like a boy who grew up with an adoration for the language his family spoke at home. And, in the process of mourning the loss of the intimacy and safeness it brought him, built a deep resentment towards it. How? I don't know yet, but based off the prologue I'm a little scared.
