Status Updates From A French Country Murder: A ...

To much descriptions got tired first chapter,plus it wasn't my book so I couldn't finish it

I have friends who know the author, and I know him from his cartoon works in The New Yorker magazine, which I read weekly and adore! This is a very brisk, engaging murder mystery and takes place largely in the countryside of beautiful France. Although written over 13 years ago, the political intrigue holds true to this day with current issues.

I'm enjoying this for the most part. There are times it seems to go off on tangent...but I am anxious to see where it takes me.
