2 months of rigorous warrior training for firepaw has passed. On his first solo mission he encountered an angry she-cat by the name of Yellowfang, kicked out of her clan and dying he takes pity on the exiled Shadowclan medicine cat. He has since been presented as Bluestar’s new apprentice in order to speed up the training of all. Shadowclan has driven windclan from their home.

Rusty has now transitioned to Firepaw, his official training begins tomorrow as now he’s acquainted with clan life as well as given a tour by his new friend Greypaw. Only one apprentice seems to be annoyed by him, Sandpaw.

The first death in the series has occurred. Poor Redtail, Bluestar’s deputy was killed.

I’ve forgotten how greatly detailed of a writer Erin hunter is. Truly she knows how to set a scene a build a world. Rusty has only just met Bluestar Lionheart, and Greypaw. Thunderclan is sadly fighting a losing battle of territory against Riverclan.
