David's early story really holds up. And there's also a LOT more to his and Saul's dynamic that I honestly didn't really know about. Always fun to be enlightened about such things!

Based on my Bible Study guide of sorts, I'll finish 1 Samuel & start 2 Samuel tomorrow.

There's a bit more to Saul's story than I realized up to this point before. A good bit denser too. Surprised by that, but perhaps David's story which follows *does* overshadow Saul's a little lol

Opening is super solid.
