Status Updates From The Second Sex

chapter on biology is made for me <3 this reminds me a lot of Sexing the Body, and I caught some mistakes de Beauvoir makes (eg., she mischaracterizes hormones) but in general it's quite insightful and interesting. i'm also getting existential dread about my own body. the menstrual cycle makes me so depressed.
