Status Updates From Flaming Dove

This is a really interesting book. I have not read a lot of angel / demon themed books, so the world is new for me.

I'm picturing the lead as an anime capped girl-warrior with an uzi. How fun is that!

I've needed a fair amount of suspension of disbelief and overlooking certain inconsistencies in this story. Yet I have to draw the line somewhere and I say that no, you really can't hold a 3 foot long, razor sharp, angelically forged sword in your (half-demonic) mouth whilst you get your guns out. Not only would you cut your own face off (razor sharp!), the blade is effectively blessed and should burn her on touch.

It's... Different. I kind of like how the focus of this Armageddon story is not on the humans for once but instead firmly on the angels and demons. Pity they act just like humans TBH.

Also it was kind of okay-not-brilliant until this stuff with Bat El and Beezlebub starting happening. Neither of them are even the main character so why are we following them so much?
