This is the second nursing memoir I decided to read. Both started with the authors stating they left school early to train as nurses! This gives the impression that nurses were poorly educated which is not true then or now.
I am a nurse. My colleagues and I had to achieved honors grades in the Leaving cert exam to be accepted as student nurses. This portrayal of poorly educated nurses should be challenged.
