Some more “tips” when she’s talking about “sweat the small stuff”:
* water down your wine when you have guests over
* water down ketchup
* take apart two ply toilet paper to make it one ply
Wtf?? If I’m hosting friends I’m not watering down their wine. These seem to almost be poverty surviving tips (which can be helpful to some, but not what I’m looking for)

Written in 2003 and surprised how much of this advice feels out data. Recommending listeners write letters instead of make long distance phone calls is just one example. I’m going to keep listening (audiobook) but I’m not sure how much useful info I’ll get out of this one
