Status Updates From Longing to Tell: Black Wome...

The stories here are actually really powerful but the writing feels quite fragmented and the paragraphs often do not blend well into each other, i don't know if this is because the author is retelling the stories from these women but i really wish she had done a better job with the overall flow.

I love the concept of this book, but some of the stories tend to drag on. That said, a few are really well done and almost make up for the weaker ones. It’s probably not the kind of book you should read straight through—better to enjoy two or three stories at a time and come back to it later. Otherwise, it can start to feel a bit tedious.
