Status Updates From Shakespeare's Tragedies

So far I've listened to the two introductory lessons, the 4 lectures on Hamlet, and part of the next lecture, on Othello. Honestly these lectures are wonderful. Previously I'd read maybe 6 of the plays, mostly tragedies, and I'd seen 2 of 3 of the comedies on film or stage. I was reading a good quality edition. I had inspiring teachers. But I think I've learned more already than in all that prior experience.

I've decided not to reread the next two plays that this course looks at. Macbeth I read several times for a paper I wrote and I know it well enough. And Antony & Cleopatra is probably one of my least favorites.

Making sure to have another listen/read of the plays before they are addressed in this. So, I've listened to the intro on the concepts of tragedy and the 4 lectures on Hamlet. Next up, Othello!
