So we’ve seen the development of bigger’s personality, he’s very temperamental and hotheaded. But we’ve also seen his change from scared of this job and scared of white people to excited about this job and then back to afraid. We’ve met his family who are almost angelic in comparison to bigger’s actions and wants. The author shows luxury rather than tells it. The Dalton’s seem like a godsend so far.
