Now they're talking about the 1852 ship wreck.

So they're discussing the regatta when Dawson acted like an idiot because he was pissed off about Joey and Pacey. Why are they leaving that out? Why isn't the Joey Pacey relationship a thing?

They're talking about the anti-prom party, but Joey and Pacey were completely love sick at that party and that was literally when everything was going to hell. This book seems to be set in an alternate reality where none of the Joey-Pacey stuff happened which is truly soul destroying. I cannot go back to when Pacey and Joey weren't in love with each other 😭

So this takes place in that brief time between the B&B opening and Joey getting together with Pacey 🤔

This is such a weird book… I don’t know how to feel about it…

I might end up DNF'ing this. The writing is very off. It's like the gang's mannerisms have to be put plainly on the page every few sentences. If one says something, the other three have to respond or snipe back.

They're going for an internship whilst all bickering at each other. It's not any way to progress the story.
