Status Updates From Bitter in the Mouth

I’m really enjoying the pacing and lyricism of this book so far. The idea of being able to taste certain words, or associate taste with certain words is so fascinating and adds an enormous amount of complexity to the speaker’s experience. How does the pleasure derived from the taste of a word compare to its context and use? What happens when a word/name which attracts or connotes violence also brings pleasure?
