Nit-picking, but does the author know North America has cougars and *not* black panthers? Those are nowhere near Shawnee territory. Pretty sure they're rainforest creatures.

I want to like this book. Charity is making that incredibly difficult for me.

I take it back. Chastity gets into circumstance after circumstance; a complete damsel in distress and a right idiot. I still like Meechee though.

Charity is an idiot, but more sufferable than most, I guess. At least this author isn't comparing him (much) to animals and repeatedly mentioning how not-white he is. I rather like Meechee.

This book is SO freakin' good.

Really enjoying it so far. Characters are engaging.

Beth's book is well written and a page turner. I am really enjoying it so far.
