Status Updates From Plague Year

Bran's house is attacked by the local townspeople. They break windows and burn dummies in the yard. His aunt and uncle talk about leaving after the trial is over. Bran goes to the quarry to clear his head and Nick and his friends come to find him but David and Molly come to help.

The whole town is going crazy because they figued out that Bran is the son of a serial killer. Bran is bullied in school and beaten up badly, the next day everything breaks out for the worse in a school board meeting.

The town now knows that Brain is the son of the serial killer and they want him out of their town. Bran was just beaten up outside of the school by Nick and Gordon pretty badly. Molly is going to take Bran to the hospital and just asked if David would want to join her.

I like this book because it has a lot of suspense and it leaves off on a lot of cliff hangars.

Intended audience: Readers who like suspense and a little bit of second-hand witness.

The narrator wants to make his dating life special again by doing new things. He decided to take Kristin to the movies to change the routine, because he knew there relationship was fading.

Molly started to get pretty close to brain even though she was the only one doing the talking. Molly started to get angry with nick for bulling Brain more often.

A new kid named brain joined the school but is getting bullied for his weird looks and how he looks like he came from prison.
