This book is super ableist in its language, has some points where the simplification of the science is so severe it becomes inaccurate, and slanders Paris Hilton- a known advocate against child abuse and teen homes.

I’m skeptical of the science in this. Some is based on cited studies. Some seems to be based on anecdotal evidence, with as few as a single case. Some seems like pure speculation. I also think she has some accepted science confused, although it’s hard to tell whether knowledge has just advanced in such a rapidly changing field. But I think she’s mixing concepts different areas of research.
