Well I have a feeling that was supposed to build suspense and atmosphere, but just felt dragging to me. 10 pages of “I count windows in this house my dad sold me to as it’s my only joy in life now” to finally a nice ending in the last quarter.

Well that was something. “My husbands missing can you come to my house and help me find him?” “Oh I think I’ve fallen in love already!” I mean, she’s a fellow redhead so I get it 🤭 but that was obnoxious. The second half was much better thankfully if not surprising

Well the first tale was suitably dark, though I could’ve done without what happened to the horse.
