“The vampire is prone to be fascinated with an engrossing vehemence, resembling the passion of love, by particular persons. It will never desist until it had satiated its passion, and drained the very life of it’s coveted victim.”

Está bastante interesante y adictiva la historia, mucho de la trama se ha visto antes pero de todas formas atrapa.

“I am sure, carmilla, you have been in love; that there is, at this moment, an affair of the heart going on.”
“I have been in love with no one, and never shall,” she whispered, “unless it should be with you.”

“Darling, darling” she murmured, “I live in you; and you would die for me, I love you so.”

Chapter 7: Laura tells the household about her frightening nighttime experience. Carmilla claims she also saw something terrifying but was protected by a charm. Laura grows increasingly weak, pale, and melancholy, suffering disturbing dreams. One night, she dreams of Carmilla covered in blood. Alarmed, Laura checks Carmilla’s room, only to discover she has mysteriously vanished despite the locked door.

Chapter 6: Carmilla hints at a painful past romance but remains secretive. Laura notices her strange attitude toward religion. That night, Laura dreams of a monstrous cat-like creature piercing her chest. She awakens in pain and sees a mysterious woman leaving her room. Despite the locked door, the stranger vanishes, leaving Laura frightened and confused. Her unexplained attack raises suspicions about Carmilla.
