This reads like reading amateur sleuthing 101 for pre-school kids! (Emphasis on amateur!) Everybody's talking about "finding clues", even the supposedly professional detective in charge of the murder investigation.
"Hey, oh-so experienced police detective, how do you investigate murders? What exactly is your process, what's police procedure?–Oh, easy. Searching for clues & finding the bad guy!" Argh!
