I like how the story not only focuses on just the disease and terrorists but also on other problems going on in the world that we see today. Such as LGBTQ rights and this helps create a realistic setting because it incorporates relatable issues that we see everyday and affect some of us.

Labyrinth of Terror has a faint dystopian sense. It takes place in the real world but uses terrorism and diseases(current events such as the Ebola breakout in the U.S and the terrorist attacks in Paris) to say that terrorists will grow smarter overtime. Soon the world will only be full of evil and violence that we can't escape.

As the story progresses, the main problem is no longer just a deadly disease but rather a terrorist attack slowly crushing the country and conquering the world through this disease. It incorporates science and real life events to write a story about a society eerily similar to ours.

I really like how the author embeds a clear and thorough scientific explanation to the disease rather than give a vague typical description of it because it allows the reader to almost imagine the disease. The language and literal description make it much easier to understand the book.
