Suddenly it had become sweet to me to be without the sweets of folly: what I once feared to lose was a delight to dismiss

why didn't anyone warn me. I'm not even a chapter in and I'm sobbing. All the words I could muster for the first 29pages: oh my, oh my goodness, wow. I feel like I'm reading his prayer journal and it's just so dear, honest, and relatable. A best friend or a lover talking to his Love...at the point where there's nothing to say but what floats through your brain; perfect contentment. Such a dear place to be with God.
