Status Updates From Song of Heyoehkah

This is a book to pick up every now and then, maybe just read a few pages at a time. It is lyrical and brings me back to a feeling about living while listening and observing well and within. There are new characters added at a moment's notice. It will take reading to the end to see if the various parts are interwoven into a whole narrative.

I've read the first chapter "The Red Lodge," which introduces Estechimah, a female shamen. It is nice for a time of reading just a bit at a time, like poetry. It is my "ground floor" book, while I have others I read when upstairs.
