Status Updates From Helpless: Caledonia's Night...

Did not finish...but I didn’t really intend to. I just wanted to get a “flavour” of the real life story in Caledonia as background in reading Smoke River. And, not surprisingly, I didn’t much like the flavour. Too many people involved, overlapping jurisdictions, too much emotion, too little interest in compromises, no clear directions...not much wonder there has been no resolution to the issue.
