Status Updates From Getting Started Knitting So...

I used to own this book and I guess I donated it in one of my purges of my home library. Anyway, had to borrow it from the library to find two patterns to make socks for Terrence. 😂

I think I'll try the anklets next. I'll have to buy some sports weight yarn for this one. It can replace some of my short socks that I have if I like the sock.

Rereading the book for next pattern.

Although I'm using only the basic pattern to make my socks I am enjoying reading about the other colors, textures, and other effects. I think I'll stay with the basic pattern for a while.

I'm still making my first sock on page 52, but I have started to read the special patterns.

I'm stuck here because this is the pattern I am using. Will finish after I'm done with my first set of socks. Still on first sock and it is going well. Wish I had put a cuff on it though. I have sneaked a peak on future sock patters.

I can't wait to start my first sock.

I am seriously thinking of buying the book.
