Status Updates From Huonetoveri

A15 cont- R was relieved when the pregnancy was never revealed in autopsy and they arrested JN bc it made him think A was joking. H apologises for the intrusion and makes to leave when R asks her to bend down and kisses her on the cheek.

A15-R&H talk of families and his stroke. H mentions G, R says JN’s defence was terrible, H says JN was caught stalking other girls. R admits he was sleeping with A and how he felt pressured to keep sleeping with her bc he felt she would tell his gf, E. He didn’t tell anyone about the pregnancy test bc he knew him and W would be in the firing line.

B15-the group leave W waiting for A, H mentions worrying about seeing JN. E mentions a way to jump the wall that H prefers but it’s too difficult for them with their height. H makes it with a boost from E, E walks around to another entrance. As H lowered, someone grabbed her ankle then tackle her. It’s JN.

A14-it’s date night, H asks W if they can skip going out. H thinks back to the pregnancy, how she thinks A was sleeping with someone else and that it could implicate W. H tells W, he said it’s bullshit. H has her appt, BP still high. A heads to York to see R, she didn’t call ahead to ask if it was okay. R opens the door, they say hello and he asks what took so long.

B14-opening night of A’s play. H thinks of JN being creepy and constantly watching her. A is very good, she comes out during break & there’s tension with A&W. The group question W about the awkwardness but he gave up nothing. The interval ends and they head back in. H notices JN sitting in the auditorium, he wasn’t there before.

A13 cont- H doesn’t believe the pregnancy. A told R about the pregnancy, the trial defence didn’t bring it up bc they didn’t want to victim blame. H tells of A’s pranks as a reason for that but she spirals when she thinks of that morning when A was sleeping with someone who wasn’t W. She runs out after G offers to call her with updates.

A13 cont- she recalls seeing A’s bedroom window lit up across the quad, then JN quietly slipping out of their staircase entry. The door was open when she got upstairs but didn’t suspect anything. Thats all H remembers, sometimes flashes in dreams. G says JN came from the same town as him and how they found no DNA on A, no one heard a struggle. Apparently A was pregnant when she died.

A13- H&G meet. They talk of R. H thinks of how much W has sacrificed for her to live the way she does (cutting off friends, moving etc). G asks H to go through the events of that night, he’s been commissioned to make a 10-part podcast. It was the last night of A’s play so they were celebrating. H,Hu&R at the bar, W gone home for the weekend, E in library. A went to change but never came back so H went to check.

B13-H arrives back from the bar to JN in her room. Says he had a package for her and she asked him to leave. She runs to her room and locks the door, then hears knocking on the front door. It’s W, she cries when she opens the door. W tells her to report it, he seems angry, H kind of defends JN? W&H kiss, then W acts like it was a huge deal and runs out.

A12-H tells W about the midwife appointment and G in the shop, W seems angry about G. G emails H that night about meeting to talk, he was in contact with JN before his death and wants to clear up loose ends he’s found. H suggests a bagel cafe the following week but can’t guarantee anything, all the evidence she gave was true.

B12-H’s test results are back, she’s top of the class. They go for drinks, A posts the ‘Shirley temple’ pic that H talked of seeing during her ig stalk in current time. A says her mum is a professional fuckup (drugs&alcohol). A&H have a spat, A being snarky and H leaves the bar.

A11-H gets to her midwife appointment, tests are all good except her blood pressure being high. H has to go back in a week for retests.

B11-H&A go to collect the guys for drinks, A pranks them saying she’s a professor calling in about the smell of weed. R furious, A revelling in the prank. Something sinister from R’s side seemingly.

A10- mainly talk of the bookstore then H encounters a customer looking for true crime books. It’s Geraint, she tells him not to come to her workplace again. They talk of R & agree to communicate via email. H forgot her appointment at the hospital but manages to rush for a later appointment.

B10-H hoped her crush on W would die down on the break but it didn’t. H&R talk of the rich kids getting a shock when they can’t all be top of their class. H&A reunited after Christmas break. A had a bad Christmas.

A9-H can’t sleep so stalks A’s ig which she hasn’t done for years. H dreams of A as if she were still alive. I don’t know why but I’m getting the feeling that the killer will be Dr M, we don’t even know who was at drinks the night a died but it’s a gut feeling. Wonder if I’ll be right.

B9-H seems a little annoyed with A getting everything she wants. The party had majority women. Dr Myers had 3 beautiful girls (A was one) sitting around him, hand around A’s waist. A boy (Jonty) flirts with H but she’s not interested, H excuses herself. A says Horatio (Dr Myers) invited her & a few girls for drinks in town.

A8-A&W discuss his possible promotion, baby things, customers from her job. H looks at the dinner bill, shocked at the price. H thinks she hears A (obv didn’t since she’s dead), then Hu shows up in the restaurant. H hasn’t had a best friend since A. They make plans to meet Hu for brunch.

B8-H invited to her teachers drinks party for promising students to make connections. A gives H something to wear. A’s room is a mess. A invites herself to the party, somehow scamming her way in with a bottle of champagne.
